CAN Info-Tech 2021

CAN Info-Tech is the largest international Information and Communication Technology trade fair and is organised by the Computer Association of Nepal (CAN). The CAN Federation is an umbrella organisation with associates from ICT institutions, professionals, and experts from the Nepal Information Communication Technology sector.

The fair takes place each year in Kathmandu where companies from around the globe can introduce new technologies and discuss business growth. This exhibition is a big opportunity for innovators to have a platform to present their ideas and motives whilst learning from others in the industry.

The event is sponsored by Prabhu Pay, a mobile wallet company, with Worldlink Communication as an associate sponsor, Ultra LED as the digital display parter, and Sunway College as an academic partner. The fair has been delayed by about three-months as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. This year, the CAN Federation declared that the exhibition will take place this year beginning on May 11 and will last six days including a 2-day conference.

Visitors of the fair will be able to learn and buy new communication and information capabilities and technologies. Some of the various sections of the exhibition will include networking and cloud solutions , mobile phone analytics, software systems, electronic capabilities, security solutions, branding, ICT accessories robotics, e-waste management, employment centres, and technology product launches. Moreover, Artificial Intelligence, government sector solutions, and insurance/accounting software will additionally be presented. The CAN Federation is expecting around 300,000 visitors at the exhibition this year and for the first time tickets have been made paperless with online booking for stalls opening from March 22.
